Issue 3 Contents

Letter from the Editor

Hello again - Welcome to Whatever #3. This is probably your first experience reading Whatever, but that's not our fault any more. Since Issue #2 we've managed to become the dominating web experience in Providence. People are checking out the site every day, as you are now.
We've also been discussed on NPR - home of liberal thought, with a potential audience of millions. So if you haven't seen us on the web or heard about us on the radio, it's your own fault. Ok, so there are thousands of web sites and thousands of radio programs, how can we blame you for not knowing we existed? Well, sorry to have to break it to you, but it's your own responsibility to stay in tune with what's going on. What is going on is Whatever. Now you know.

That aside, have fun with issue #3. There are more bad job stories, an article on health care by a girl trying to do something (without Andrew Shoe), lots of concert photos, some get involved in politics kind of stuff, and Whatever else we felt like d oing.

I'm sorry to sound so preachy, but I've been listening to Rush Limbaugh and I've decided to try my hand at it. So remember, I am correct even if statistics or surveys or any other kind of evidence seems to say otherwise. And we'll be right back after this message from the Whatever Marketing Team's about how you can look great in a Mike Gaughan - Whatever Bowling Shirt.

Seriously though, thanks for checking us out. Sorry we're kinda low on those great Dave Counts cartoons that have helped hold together our other issues, but he was busy training and running in the Boston Marathon. He finished 137 overall, 4th in Massachusetts, and to be honest without sounding sappy, we couldn't be more proud. I think he even got married between this edition and the last, but what do you care? We'll have more of his cartoons next issue.
