One person describes busting ass over a software project and then, instead of being rewarded for coming through in a crunch, was laid off. Then there's a really upsetting story of being lied to at every turn and getting bad checks on payday. The next time this happens to you, read *Whatever's* guidelines for getting the money that's coming to you. Funny what a paycheck with the initials "NSF" can do for the company's public image. Show reports and track stories comprise much of the rest of this issue, with six pages devoted to Marilyn Manson concerts and their fans' battle with the Christian Right.
